Harrah’s Offers Free Concerts All Summer Long
Summers are heating up on the Harrah’s Reno Plaza as the Summer Concert
Series kicks off in June. You can catch the hottest local bands nearly every
weekend and the best part is — it won’t cost you a dime! The free events
begin with R&B and blues band Big Red on June 13 and The Original KISS
ARMY on June 14. The fun continues with the Reno Rodeo’s Chalk the Walk
June 19 – 21 followed by Trey Stone on June 27 and a Chicago tribute band on
June 28. The concerts, running from 8 – 10 p.m., are a perfect start to an
evening at the Sapphire Lounge where there’s even more live, free entertainment

North Lake Tahoe Hosts Concerts and Theater This Summer
Music and theater fill the night in North Lake Tahoe this summer at outside venues backed
by the Sierra mountain peaks and the country’s largest alpine lake. Open-air concerts lure
guests with the sounds of classical, jazz, blues, reggae and rock. Free concerts take the
stage throughout the summer at Tahoe City’s Commons Beach
every Sunday, beginning June 22. The Lake Tahoe Music Festival
kicks off its summer concert series July 17 at its outdoor stage in Homewood. For theater like no

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Dave Mason, a founding member of the band Traffic, performs
with fellow rock legend Jim Messina and band at Alpine Meadows Ski Resort July 31. Billed as Lake
